Wordless Wednesday -- Our week

Here's an almost wordless snapshot of our week...

Here's my son just starting his tin can project from Wabibito. We'll be doing a review of her new magazine this week. Be sure to check back and look for it! :)

My son turned 10 last week. He loved his cake I baked for him, and I learned that I really shouldn't ever pursue being a cake decorator, lol.

Here's a science experiment we worked on this week. What happens when you put an egg in fresh water? What happens if you put an egg in salt water? We enjoyed it and learned a lot.

This last bit is my stitching.  I'm working on a lovely project called Tree of Hope by Mirabilia.  I started it over the summer, and put it down for almost six months because my eyes were bothering me.  I got glasses last month and now I'm back to doing everything I love.  Including stitching.

How was your week?

  1. For a lot of fun, trying soaking the egg in vinegar. I think it's vinegar, but you might want to google it to make sure. Anyway, the shell will dissolve and the egg will bounce like a rubber ball. It's very cool.

    1. Thanks! It's really fun. I've been stitching for so long and I haven't finished any of my projects. This I will finish. It's huge, but I will! :)

  5. You've had a busy week! I like the egg experiment. We tried putting on in vinegar. It's supposed to turn into a ball and bounce. Maybe we didn't put it in there for long enough. It looked ready, felt weird. We went to bounce it, and it broke open. Yolk on the floor. I'm thinking of trying it again, just leaving it in there longer.
